Artworks by 20 William Paterson University graduate students who are pursuing master of fine arts degrees were recently on view in an exhibition at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City.
The exhibition featured artwork in a variety of media, including painting, animation, digital media, and traditional sculpture. The annual end-of-year exhibition provides an opportunity for the students to showcase the works they created during the past year.
Participating students were Julian Alvarez, Patrick Baj, Jules Bulkley, Lauren Cedeno, Jessica Dutschmann, Richard Franco, Sharon Gurecki, Serena Henderson, Dave Kawelec, Anna Kuhn, Joshua Lopez, Jennifer Luzzi, Malakzad Makhmalbaf, Daija McNeil, Dave Saunders, Julia Seastrand, Christian Tavis, Ashley Villarreal, James Wandel, and Ally Zonzini.
The exhibition was sponsored by alumni Virginia Schaffer Block '68, MA '71 and Terrence Masson, MFA '08. It was juried by members of the William Paterson Department of Art Graduate Committee and all students currently in the MFA visual art program are represented.
