Drs. Northington and Blaustein will describe the stages of adolescent brain development and the impact on learning and performance in the classroom. They will discuss the appeal of risk-taking and sensation seeking for teens, explain adolescents’ attempts to maintain focus, organize data and meet deadlines and offer both educational and behavioral strategies to maximize teen success both academically and socially.
