Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

This site includes information and resources for the University community regarding campus communications, campus operations, remote instruction, health and prevention, and other topics. We are following guidance from the CDC and the State of New Jersey regarding COVID-19 as we navigate through this crisis. Please check back frequently for updates.

Current Operating Status [8/6]

  • The Fall 2020 semester will begin on August 24, one week earlier than previously scheduled, and end at the Thanksgiving break (click here for Academic Calendar)
  • Courses will be a mix of in-person, hybrid, and online
  • All classes have been moved online for Summer 2020, and most non-essential employees are working remotely
  • Key University operations, including Cheng Library, continue to operate remotely
  • Residence halls are closed
  • Summer 2020 events and activities, including summer youth camps, admission information sessions, and new student orientations are being held online
  • Residence halls will open at reduced capacity for the Fall semester
