University Choir to Perform at William Paterson University on May 3

The William Paterson University Choir and the William Paterson University Chamber Singers will present a spring concert on Monday, May 3 at 8 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on the campus in Wayne.  Admission is free.

The performance will include a variety of selections, including “Dona nobis pacem” by Bach;“ Lacrymosa” by  Mozart; “Ave Maria” by Biebl; “O Clap Your Hands” by Vaughan Williams; “Danny Boy,” arranged by Flummerfelt; “Good News,” arranged by Dawson; “Go Way from My Window” by John Jacob Niles; “Ching-A-Ring Chaw” by Aaron Copland; and “Elijah Rock,” arranged by Hairston.

Stephen Bryant, professor of music and director of choral activities at William Paterson, conducts the Choir; the Chamber Singers are directed by Frederick Irwin.
