Out of Thin Air!, a Magic Show Starring Bradley Fields, to be Presented at Willam Paterson University on April 24

Bradley Fields, one of the most acclaimed magicians in the world, brings his show Out of Thin Air! to William Paterson University’s Shea Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, April 24 at 7 p.m.

Free pre-show activities, including arts and crafts related to the theme of the show, begin at 6:15 p.m., and there is a post-show autograph session. Parents are invited to bring their cameras. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children and students. The show is appropriate for all ages.

In Out of Thin Air!, things appear from nowhere; they vanish into nothingness.  Fields presents amazing sleight-of-hand tricks and laugh-out-loud comedy to create a magical world filled with poetry and wonder.

Fields has presented his magic theatre to standing ovations around the world since 1975. A professional since age 14, he developed an original style that combines comedy, mime and characterization, leading to performances at such legendary nightspots as New York’s Gaslight, the Bitter End, Washington’s Cellar Door and Chicago’s Quiet Knight. He has appeared at the National Theater, the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC, and is the first U.S. magician to be officially presented in Beijing by the Chinese Ministry of Culture.

This event is part of William Paterson’s Vistas Series Family and School Scene program. The Vistas Series’ Family and School Scene programs are made possible in part by a grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts / Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
