William Paterson University will observe Martin Luther King Day with a lecture on leadership by Marc Lamont Hill, associate professor of English education and anthropology at Columbia University. The event will be held on January 25 in the University’s Ballroom C at 12:30 p.m.
Hill will present the keynote address for the program titled “Leadership in the Hour of Chaos,” for the University’s celebration of the life of Martin Luther King Jr. The lecture is free and open to the public.
In addition to teaching, Hall is an activist, scholar, and cultural critic. His research includes popular culture, politics, sexuality, and religion. His work has appeared in the New York Times, The Washington Post, and Essence Magazine.
