Congressman Bill Pascrell to Address Job Seekers at Career Resource Job Fair on August 26

A job fair featuring Congressman Bill Pascrell as keynote speaker will be held on Friday, August 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at William Paterson University, 1600 Valley Road, Wayne, N.J.

This “career resource event” will include more than 30 vendors representing healthcare, transportation, security, material management, retail/sales, manufacturing, financial, and government.

The event will include free workshops on how to apply for government jobs, using social media for job searches, and resume critiques.

Attendees are encouraged to bring at least 20 resumes and to dress in interview attire. The job fair is open to everyone, regardless of education level. Rep. Bill Pascrell will address job seekers at 9:15 a.m.

The job fair is sponsored by William Paterson University’s Center for Continuing and Professional Education, the Passaic County One Stop System, and the Workforce Investment Board of Passaic County and partners.
