“Stories In My Pocket,” a new production presented by the Little Theatre if the Deaf, will be performed at William Paterson University’s Shea Center for Performing Arts on Saturday, October 22 at 2 p.m.
Free pre-show activities will begin at 1:15 p.m., and there is a post-show autograph session. Parents are invited to bring their cameras. All tickets are $10. The show is appropriate for grades pre-K through 5.
“Stories In My Pocket” draws on the large repertory of stories, poems and riddles the company has produced over the past 40 years. The actors will select volunteers from the audience to choose which stories will be performed. The production is designed to entertain and educate, concludes with an interactive segment with audience suggestions.
Little Theater of the Deaf is part of the National Theatre of the Deaf, which is designed to reach out to young audiences and their families. Each year, Little Theatre of the Deaf performs to thousands of children and adults across the nation and internationally.
This event is part of William Paterson’s Vistas Series Family and School Scene program.
