“Joined at the Head,” Catherine Butterfield’s acclaimed play, will be performed at William Paterson University in Wayne from November 15 to 20 in the Hunziker Black Box Theatre on campus.
“Joined at the Head” is about two very different women- one a novelist, the other dying from cancer - who meet and form an immediate friendship. Butterfield, a Manhattan native, premiered “Joined at the Head” in 1992 at the Manhattan Theatre Club, and won the Kennedy Center award for excellence.
Starring in the play are William Paterson students Stephen Bisaha of Sayreville, Abena Mensah-Bonsa and Roxanne Guarin of Metuchen, Tony Ciaiola of Paterson, Eric Dolan of Dumont, Catie Matteucci of North Wildwood, Jason Provenzale of Little Falls, and Nicole Repekta and Nicole O’Donnell of Wayne.
The play will be performed from November 15 to 19 at 7 p.m., November 18 at 11 a.m. and November 20 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $14 standard and $10 for William Paterson University alumni, faculty, staff, students and senior citizens.
