Visiting artists will be invited to participate in exhibitions, lectures, demonstrations, and workshops. Such programs highlighting Chinese art and culture may lead to reciprocal agreement with other universities and venues that promote not only individual artists but future intellectual and artistic exchanges as well.

Wuli Zhang Wuli Zhang, Dean of College of Art at Sanjiang University, Nanjing, China; Professor of Art at College of Art of Nanjing Normal University; Vice Chair of Jiangsu Artists Association. Graduated with a major in painting in 1980 from Nanjing Art Institute. Visiting artist to the Vladimir National Normal University, Russia in 2001. Graduated with a degree of Master of Art in Painting in 2004 from Nanjing Art Institute. Professor Zhang served as Vice Chair of the Jiangsu Painting Art Committee; Vice Secretary General of Jiangsu Painting Association; and Associate Dean of College of Art at Nanjing Normal University.
04/12/2016 Jianming Zhao, Professor from Nanjing Sanjiang University of China Shanghai William Chinese Art Foundation Distinguished Visiting Artist Series Jianming Zhao, was invited to conduct an artist residency, a Chinese Ink Painting Demonstration and an Artist Talk for CCART on April 12, 2016. Jianming Zhao Chinese Painter, well known for his Chinese traditional paintings of flowers in the freehand brushwork style. He is honored with the title of Class-A National Painter. Graduated with a major in Chinese painting in 1980 from Nanjing Art Institute. He is currently an endowed professor of College of Art at Sanjiang University; an endowed painter of Nantong Academy of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy; Artistic Director of Jiangsu Aitall Cultural Industry Co., Ltd.
04/04/2016 Figuring the System: The Digital Compositions of Jiawei Gong Shanghai William Chinese Art Foundation Distinguished Visiting Artist Series Jiawei Gong, was invited to conduct an artist residency, an exhibition, and an Artist Talk for CCART on April 4, 2016. Jiawei Gong Digital media artist and an art professor of Texas Tech University. In the past 20 years, Gong has practiced in both applied and fine art disciplines. His exhibition record to date includes over 70 group and solo exhibitions regionally, nationally and internationally in the U.S., Europe, and China. He has won a number of awards at the international film festivals and art competitions.

Kemin Dong Director of Chinese Ancient Town Institute in Xian, China. His photographs have been selected by national exhibitions and received numerous excellence and golden awards. He was awarded excellence in photography by Chinese National Academy of Arts, by China Art Photography Society, and by Chinese Photographers, the top Chinese photography magazine.

Peichen Xu Professor of School of Fine Arts of Nanjing Normal University, China. He serves as Vice President of Jiangsu Society of Chinese Painting and President of Jiangsu Research Institute for Bird-and-Flower Paintings. Mengjie Ma An outstanding calligrapher and poet, currently serves as Deputy Director of Chinese Couplet Calligraphy Association, Deputy Secretary General of Yanhuang Art Foundation and Research Fellow of Tianjin Chinese Art Research Institute.
