Advanced Placement Information

An entering student who presents an outstanding score on an appropriate College Board achievement test or who demonstrates advanced standing qualifications by other acceptable evidence may, with proper approval, enroll in an advanced course. William Paterson University participates in the advanced placement program of the College Entrance Examination Board (CEEB). In this program, high schools offer students accelerated honors courses on a college level in several fields. Examinations covering these courses are administered annually.
