It takes a lot of hard work to earn a college degree. You—the family and friends of William Paterson graduates—have provided care, guidance, and support to the students receiving diplomas. So as much as William Paterson University Commencement marks a day of congratulations, it's also one of pride and gratitude. UNDERGRADUATE CEREMONYPlease join us in the celebration of Undergraduate Commencement on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Doors open to guests at the Investors Bank Tower at 7:30 a.m. President Richard J. Helldobler will confer degrees on all candidates receiving bachelor’s degrees from the University’s four colleges: College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, Cotsakos College of Business, College of Education, and the College of Science and Health. PARKING FOR THE PRUDENTIAL CENTERWe encourage everyone to allow for travel time with morning rush hour traffic. Reserving parking in advance is strongly advised. Arrangements have been made with Park Mobile for this purpose. *ParkMobile will become available closer to the ceremony date and all graduates will receive an email once it is open for purchasing. ENTERING THE PRUDENTIAL CENTERTickets are not required to attend the ceremony; you may invite as many guests as you would like. Please plan for a security check when entering the Prudential Center. Outside food and beverages, balloons, beach balls, and noisemakers are not permitted. For additional prohibited items, view the Arena Policy at www.prucenter.com/arena-policy. Food vendors will be available on the arena concourse. PHOTOGRAPHYGrad Images is the ceremony photographer and will be taking pictures of each student as they process to the stage, with their diploma cover, and are recognized by their Academic Dean. You will be able to view the photos online and purchase directly from Grad Images.
