Your journey as a WP Pioneer begins with First Year Student Orientation, and we are excited to meet you! We have a fun and informative day planned for you and your family to get to know our beautiful campus, learn about helpful resources and important academic information to help you succeed. You will... Meet your Orientation Leaders who will help you connect with other students and guide you throughout your Orientation experience. You'll learn about campus life and how to get involved from a student perspective! Meet your Academic Success Team, which includes your Associate Dean and Academic Advisors / Will Power 101 Instructors. They provide support to help you succeed academically. Meet staff from a variety of offices at our fun Services Fair. Have many opportunities to ask questions to help you prepare to become a Pioneer for the Fall 2024 semester. During First Year Orientation, there is also a separate track of sessions for your family members to learn about resources to assist you as student, so please invite them along! Complete your required on-line training courses before classes begin! You'll receive an email with the links to Alcohol 101+ and SPARC (Sexual & Interpersonal Violence Prevention and Response Course). Make sure your vaccines are updated and upload your required vaccination and health insurance information to the portal in WPConnect.
